Our Preschool Childcare Center is owned and operated by the Austintown Community Church. The center is governed by a Board of Directors. The center is open year round, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am-6:00 pm The center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services and is an authorized childcare provider for the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services (ODJFS). It is an observation site for early childhood education students attending Y.S.U., K.S.U., and Mahoning County Technical & Career Center.
Children who are 3-10 years old may be enrolled regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. However, our staff must be able to meet any special behavioral, developmental, or physical needs. Preschoolers must be toilet trained.
Required forms for ALL students must be turned in before the first day of attendance. All preschoolers must turn in a current medical form signed & dated by a physician or nurse practitioner. In addition, parents must meet with the school’s director/designee either individually or at a group parent meeting prior to the child’s first day to review school policies.
Registration for returning students, siblings of current students, and A.C.C. Church members begins the first two weeks of February followed by open registration for new students. Students are enrolled on a first-come basis and their place in an appropriate class is secured when a completed application form is turned in and registration fee is paid. This registration fee is ($45.00) is non-refundable. (New preschool students will receive an ACC t-shirt & book bag prior to the child’s first day.) Returning students can receive a registration discount with early registration (Jan. 30-Feb. 10).

Note: We are closed on major holidays, the weeks after Easter & Christmas and the last week of August. If public/parochial schools are closed due to weather, our center will usually be OPEN. We may close in extreme circumstances (i.e. building conditions, weather, etc.) at director’s discretion.
